AhlulBayt News Agency - The so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) cannot seem catch a break in the east Hama countryside, thanks in large part to the relentless airstrikes from the Russian and Syrian air forces that harass the terrorist group on a daily basis.
On Sunday evening, the Syrian Air Force reportedly struck ISIL’s headquarters inside the strategic village of ‘Aqayrbat on Sunday, destroying the entire building for the second time in two months.
In addition to the Syrian Air Force’s destruction of ISIL’s HQ in ‘Aqayrbat, the Russian Air Force carried out numerous airstrikes between the aforementioned village and the western Raqqa countryside, killing several terrorists in the process.
According to a military source in Latakia, the Syrian and Russian air forces carried out well-over 40 airstrikes above the east Hama and west Raqqa countrysides on Sunday, despite the lack of ground activity by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and National Defense Forces (NDF).
